Regeneration Project

Phase 1 has been completed, the roof has been repaired and the pointing redone on all external walls.

We are very grateful to Greater Dartmoor Leaf Rural Development Programme, Tavistock Town Heritage Initiative, Tavistock Town Council and Coop. But this would not have happened without the superb support, and fund raising, from our amazing local community.

Positioned at the very heart of Tavistock’s wide and varied community, Kingdon House is a community owned space where cultural, mental and physical health needs are catered and provided for and EVERYONE is welcome.

Within the walls of this Grade 2 listed Arts & Crafts building that we hope to sustain, we harbour visual arts, drama, dance, music, learning, support, advice and physical and mental wellbeing.

We are trying many ways to raise money to carryout further work to renovate some of the interior rooms as well. We are applying for grants, and organising fundraising events, all of which will be displayed on our web site Whats On page.
